WesCom walang namataang anti-ship ballistic missile test sa South China Sea

Walang namataan ang Western Command ng Armed Forces of the Philippines na anti-ship ballistic missile test sa pinag-aagawang mga teritoryo sa South China Sea.

Ito ay matapos ang ulat na nagkaroon ng missile launch ang China sa nasabing teritoryo.

Sa pahayag ng Wescom, sinabi nitong tinututukan ng Sandatahang Lakas ang West Philippine Sea at tuloy-tuloy ang isinasagawang ‘maritime and sovereignty patrol missions’.

Iginiit ng WesCom ang kanilang pangakong proprotektahan at babantayan ang interes ng bansa alinsunod sa batas at sa utos ng pambansang gobyerno.

Ang ulat na nagsagawa ng missile launch ang China malapit sa Spratlys ay tinawag na nakababahala ng ‘The Pentagon’ ang himpilan ng US Department of Defense.

Taliwas umano ito sa pangako ng Beijing na hindi isasailalim sa militarisasyon ang naturang territorial waters.

Una rito, ipinangako ni Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana na iimbestigahan ang ulat.
