Pagbabalik ni Blatche sa Gilas, delayed dahil sa custody hearing
Ilang araw na made-delay ang pagdating ni Andray Blatche sa Pilipinas para sa 2019 Fiba Basketball World Cup dahil sa personal na bagay na kailangan nitong asikasuhin sa Estados Unidos.
Ayon kay Gilas Coach Yeng Guiao, nakatakdang dumalo si Blatche sa hearing ng custody ng anak nito.
Dahil dito ay sa July 12 o 13 makakarating sa bansa ang player imbes na sa July 8.
“According to our contacts, agents in America, Andray has a court hearing for the custody case of his child,” pahayag ni Guiao matapos ang practice ng Gilas sa Meralco Gym.
Si Blatche ang inaasahang kukumpleto sa final roster ng Pilipinas na sasabak sa Fiba.
“As soon as Andray comes in, we already have 13 or 14 in the final list, he’ll be the no.15. That would be the team we’ll work with.”
Limang beses na naglaro si Blatche para sa gilas sa Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
Nawala lamang ito sa koponan dahil sa 3 larong suspensyon matapos ang gulo sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Australia noong nakaraang taon.
