Umabot sa walong drug suspects ang naaresto ng Eastern Police District (EPD) sa ginawang buy-bust operations sa magkakahiwalay na lugar.
Ang mga suspek na inaresto sa Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig City ay sina Juvy Tuares, Joel Tuares, Frederic Cortez at Reynaldo Lorica na mga kasama sa drugs watchlist ng EPD.
Ayon sa pulisya, nahuli naman sina Nerry Ticay, Jenalyn Mololoy-on, Jeffrey Roque at Grace Fabiana sa bahay nila sa Barangay Tumana, Marikina City.
Nakuha sa mga suspek ang 13 sachet ng hinihinalang shabu at iba’t ibang drug paraphernalia.
Ang nasabing operasyon ay alinsunod sa kampanya ng EPD kontra droga sa pamumuno ng District Drug Enforcement Unit.
Nahaharap ang mga suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
