Order of Lapu-Lapu iginawad sa 12 sundalong nasugatan sa Sulu blast
Ginawaran ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng Order of Lapu-Lapu, Rank of Kampilan ang 12 sundalong nasugatan sa kambal na pagsabog sa Indanan, Sulu noong June 28.
Binisita ng presidente Miyerkules ng gabi ang mga sundalo sa Camp Navarro General Hospital sa Zamboanga City.
Ang mga ginawaran ng medalya ay sina: SSgt. Ferdinand Clemente, SSgt. Marlon Domingo, Sgt. William Andreade, Sgt. Ryan Ferrer, Sgt. Richard Tudla, Sgt. Mark Joseph Mamingcol, Sgt. Jykyl Bautista, Cpl. Serto Bagni, Cpl. Rommel Soliman, Pfc. John Angelo Carpio, Pfc. Ralph Sabroso, at Pfc. Dariel Bolivar.
Binigyan naman ng Order of Lapu-Lapu, Rank of Kalasag ang dalawang sundalong nasawi sa pag-atake na sina Pfc. Dominique Inte at Pfc. Recarte Alban Jr.
Ang mga kaanak ng mga nasawing sundalo ang tumanggap sa parangal.
Magugunitang ginawaran din ng kaparehong parangal ni Pangulong Duterte si Cpl. Richard Macabadbad noong Linggo ng gabi.
Ayon kay Western Mindanao Command (WesMinCom) chief Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, ang parangal ay iginawad sa mga sundalo bilang pagkilala sa kanilang katapangang ipaglaban ang bansa.
“The courage and will of our soldiers to fight for lasting peace is truly commendable that the president deemed it fit to recognize their heroic deeds,” ani Sobejana.
