Kawalan ng third party investigator sa Recto Bank incident aprub kay Pangulong Duterte

Tanggap ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pag-ayaw ng China na magkaroon ng third party investigator sa Recto Bank incident.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo, okay lang sa pangulo ang walang third party.

Wala aniyang problema ang pangulo kung ang Pilipinas at China na lamang ang magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon.

Una rito, nais ni Foreign affairs secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. na ang Brunei ang magsilbing third party investigator.

Ayon kay Panelo, ang nais na lamang ngayon ni Pangulong Duterte at ng China na tapusin na ang isyu at magkaroon ng closure dahil ginagatasan at sinasakyan na aniya ng mga kritiko ang usapin sa Recto Bank.

Sinabi pa ni Panelo na nasisira na ang relasyon ng China at Pilipinas.

Kasabay nito, itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte si Philippine ambassador to China Chito Santa Romana na maging

kinatawan ng Pilipinas sa bubuuing working group sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China na mag-iimbestiga sa Recto Bank Incident.
