Ninakaw na oil painting noong World War 2, isasauli na ng Germany

Naglabas ng pahayag ang German government kaugnay sa ninakaw ng tropang Nazi na oil painting na “Vase of Flowers” noong 1943.

Itoy matapos umapela ang Uffizi Gallery director na si Eike Schmidt ng Italy na ibalik sa kanila ang sabing obra maesra.

Ayon sa German governement na ibabalik na nila sa bansang Italy ang ninanakaw na obra ng Dutch artist na si Jan Van Huysum noong kasagsagan ng World War 2 sa Florence, Italy.

Sinabi pa ni Foreign Minister Heiko Maas na magtutungo ito sa Florence, kasama ang Italian counterpart na si Enzo Moavero upang ibigay muli ang painting sa Uffizi Gallery.

Ang oil painting na Vase of Flowers ay bahagi ng Pitti Palace Collection sa Florence mula 1824 hanggang sa sumiklab ang World War II at ninakaw ito ng mga German Troops.
