Pilipinas at Japan, isinagawa ang Sulu Sea exercise

Nagkaroon ng maritime exercise ang Philippine Navy at ang Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) na Escort Flotilla 1 sa Cagayan de Tawi-tawi sa Sulu Sea noong June 29.

Lumahok ang BRP Davao Del Sur, JS Izumo (DH-183), JS Murasame (DD-101), at ang JS Akebono (DD-108) sa naturang kaganapan.

Kasama rin dito ang mga helicopter ng JMSDF at eroplanong patrolya ng Philippine Navy.

Ang maritime exercise na ito ay makatutulong sa pagpapatibay ng samahan at relasyon ng pwersa ng Pilipinas at Japan.

Nakatakda namang tumawag ang JMSDF ngayong katapusan ng linggo para sa muling pakikipag-usap sa Hukbong Dagat ng Pilipinas.
