Pork Products mula sa North Korea, ban na rin sa Pilipinas – DA

Dinagdagan pa ng Department of Agriculture (DA) ang mga bansang may ban sa pagpasok ng pork products sa Pilipinas.

Batay sa inilabas na memorandum order, ipinag-utos ni Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol ang pansamantalang ban ng mga karne ng baboy mula sa North Korea.

Aniya, layon nitong maiwasan aniya ang pagpasok ng African Swine Fever at maprotektahan ang local swine population sa bansa.

Kinumpira ng Ministry of Agriculture ng North Korea sa kanilang official country report na isinumite sa World Health Organization (WHO) na may kaso ng ASF sa Buksang cooperative farm Ri, Usi at Changang-Do.

Maliban sa North Korea, nasa 17 bansa pa ang mayroong ban sa mga pork products.

– Czech Republic
– Bulgaria
– Cambodia
– Mongolia
– Moldova
– Belgium
– China
– Hungary
– Latvia
– Poland
