Duterte sa EEZ: ‘Senseless, thoughtless at pang punas ng puwet’
Itinuring ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na “senseless, thoughtless” at pang punas ng puwet ang probisyon sa Konstitusyon kaugnay ng exclusive economic zone (EEZ) ng Pilipinas.
Sa panayam matapos ang oath-taking ni Senator-elect Bong Go sa Malakanyang, sinabi ng Pangulo na hindi rin naman kinikilala ng China ang EEZ.
“That is a provision for the thoughtless and the senseless. Pupunta ako sabihin ko get out, this is the Constitution. Sabihin sayo’ naubusan ka na ng toilet paper, gamitin mo yan. Ako kung sabihin you present to me a constitution like that and we have this ruckus claiming the same place in our jurisdiction. Sabihin ko, kung wala kang pang-ilo gamitin mo yang constitution mo. Because that means war. And that piece of paper, the Constitution, will become meaningless with no spirit except desperation, agony, and suffering,” ani Duterte.
Partikular na tinutukoy ng Presidente ang section 2 ng article XII ng Konstitusyon na kinakailangan na protektahan ng estado ang marine wealth na sakop ng archipelagic waters, territorial sea at EEZ.
Pero ayon sa Pangulo, hindi kikilalanin ng China ang Konstitusyon ng Pilipinas.
Bwelta pa ng Pangulo, kung naubusan ng toilet paper, ipagagamit niya ang kopya ng Konstitusyon para ipang punas ng puwet.
