Pork products mula sa Laos, ban na rin sa Pilipinas

Ipinatupad ng Department of Agriculture (DA) ang ban sa pagpasok ng mga pork product mula sa bansang Laos.

Sa inilabas na memorandum order, sinabi ni Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol na ito ay para maiwasang makapasok ang African Swine Fever (ASF) sa bansa.

Ang ASF ay isang severe viral disease na makakaapekto sa local pork industry.

Nakumpirma kasi ng Department of Livestock and Fisheries director general mula sa Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry sa Laos ang outbreak ng ASF sa bahagi ng Toumlan, Saravane.

Maliban sa Laos, narito ang listahan ng mga bansang mayroong ban sa mga pork products:
– Vietnam
– Zambia
– South Africa
– Czech Republic
– Bulgaria
– Cambodia
– Mongolia
– Moldova
– Belgium
– China
– Hungary
– Latvia
– Poland
– Romania
– Russia
– Ukraine
