Liberal Party nais muling maging bahagi ng mayorya sa 18th Congress

Nagpahayag ng pagnanais ang Liberal Party na maging bahagi muli ng mayorya sa Kamara sa 18th Congress.

Sa ginanap na caucus ng mga political parties sa SEDA Hotel sa pangunguna ni Leyte Rep. Elect Martin Romualdez, dumalo sina Caloocan Rep. Edgar Erice at Quezon City Rep. Kit Belmonte.

Ayon kay Erice, nakahanda silang makipag-compromise ngayong 18th Congress sakaling si Romualdez ang mauupong Speaker.

Paliwanag ng mambabatas, bukod sa bumalik sa mayorya ay naging consensus din ng LP na magsagawa ng bloc vote sa Speakership race.

Sa 18th Congress ay nasa 18 ang miyembro ng Liberal Party sa Kamara.

Nakahanda naman umano ang LP sakaling hindi ma-meet ang ilang compromise o panukala na mapag-uusapan at nais na maisulong sa susunod na Kongreso.

Gayunman nilinaw nito na wala pa naman silang napipili sa partido kung sino ang susuportahan s speakership race.
