Si Direk Joyce Bernal ang muling napiling maging direktor ng State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa July 22.
Ayon kay Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM) team leader for SONA 2019 Jun Lubid, magsisimula ang rehearsals ng romantic-comedy director sa July 13.
“Binibining Joyce Bernal would be directing this year’s Sona […] on July 13 magkakaroon ng mga rehearsals with Joyce Bernal,” ani Lubid.
Ito na ang ikalawang taon na si Bernal ang mamamahala sa mga anggulo ng mga camera sa SONA ni Duterte.
Noong 2018 ay hindi nagpabayad sa serbisyo ang direktor.
Magugunitang ang 2018 SONA na idinerehe ni Bernal ay nabalam ng mahigit isang oras matapos ang showdown sa pagitan nina Pantaleon Alvarez at House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
