Kalahati sa reklamo sa Anti-Red Tape Authority, naresolba na kahit wala pang IRR

Ibinida ng Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) na pumalo na kalahati sa 166 na rekllamo ang kanilang naresolba.

Ito ay kahit na hindi pa naaprubahan ang implementing rules and regulations (IRR) sa Republic Act 11032 o “an act promoting ease of doing business and efficient delivery of government services” na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong May 2018.

Sa pulong balitaan sa Malakanyang, sinabi ni ARTA Officer-in-Charge Deputy Director General Ernesto Perez na 52 porsyento sa mga reklamo ang kanilang naresolba na sa loob lamang ng halos dalawang buwan.

Karamihan aniya sa mga reklamo na kanilang natanggap ay ukol sa SSS benefits, birth certificates, business permits at license to operate habang ang iba ay may kinalaman sa regulation of policies at request na ma-excempt sa standard processing.

Paalala ni Perez sa mga kagawad ng gobyerno, tiyaking maayos ang serbisyo at huwag ma-delay ang pagbibigay ng mga aplikasyon.

Sa ilalim ng bagong batas, tatlo hanggang pitong working days lamang ang standard processing time sa mga papeles sa gobyerno.

Anim na buwang suspension aniya ang parusa sa first offense; para sa second offense ay dismissal from service naman ang parusa, forfeiture of benefits, perpetual disqualification, merong pang kulong na isa hanggang anim na taon at multa na P500,000 hanggang P2 milyon. / Chona Yu
