BTS, nasungkit ang best-selling album record sa South Korea

Nakasungkit ang Korean all-boy group na BTS ng panibagong Guinness World Record.

Ayon sa Guinness World Records, nasungkit ng BTS ang best-selling album record sa South Korea.

Ito ay makaraang pumalo sa 3,399,302 na kopya ang naibenta sa kanilang bagong release na “Map of the Soul: Persona” hanggang May 2019.

Nahigitan ng seven-member group ang record ng 1995 album “Mis-Encounter” ng Korean singer-songwriter na si Kum Gun-mo kung saan nakapagbenta ng mahigit 3 milyong kopya sa South Korea.

Matatandaang ni-release ang “Map of the Soul: Persona” noong April 12, 2019 kasama ang singer na “Boy With Luv” ng American singer-songwriter na si Halsey.

Maliban sa panibagong record, sinabi ng Guinness World Records na hawak din ng BTS ang social media records tulad ng “most Twitter engagements for a music group.” / Angellic Jordan
