Pagpapabilis sa pagpapaunlad ng ecozones sa mga rural areas, ipinag utos ni Pangulong Duterte

Sa pamamagitan ng Administrative Order No. 18, ipinag utos ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte sa ilang ahensya ng pamahalaan na pabilisin ang pagpapaunlad ng mga special economic zones sa mga rural areas dito sa bansa sa ilalim ng Administrative Order No. 18, nakatuon ang mga natukoy na ahensya sa pagpapabilis ng pag-unlad ng kapital at imprastraktura, pati narin ang pagkakaloob ng mga kaukulang aksyon sa pagpapatibay sa mga economic zone sa mga lugar.

Narito ang mga ahensya ng gobyerno na kabilang sa ilalim Administrative Order No. 18..

– Department of Trade and Industry

– Department of Transportation

– Department of Public Works and Highways, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority

Gayunpaman, sa ilalim ng Administrative Order No. 18 ay ipinag utos din ang moratorium sa pagproseso sa mga ecozones applications sa Metro Manila, upang makadagdag sa umiiral na estratehiya at mga patakaran sa pagpapaunlad sa mga rural areas.

Samantala, ang mga negosyo sa mga idineklarang ecozones ay makararanas ng tax-free importations, tax holidays, at mga exemption sa anumang mga bayarin sa gobyerno. (End/Mp)
