Tubig sa Angat Dam “below critical level” na

Mas bumaba pa mula sa critical level ang antas ng tubig sa Angat Dam.

Sa huling pagtaya kaninang alas-6:00 ng umaga, nasa 159.58 meters ang water level ng dam.

Mas mababa ito sa critical level na 160 meters.

Dahil dito, sinabi ng National Water Resources Board (NWRB) na mas babawasan pa nila ang alokasyon na sinu-supply sa Metro Manila mula sa Angat Dam.

Sinabi ni Maynilad Corporation Communication head Jennifer Rufo na pangunahing maapektuhan ng kakapusan ng tubig ang lalawigan ng Cavite na makararanas ng mas mahabang water interruption.

Ayon naman kay Jeric Sevilla, Manila Water VP for Corporate Communications, maaring tumagal ng hanggang 12-oras ang kawalan ng supply ng tubig sa kanilang mga kostumer.

Apektado rin ng water service interruption ang Marikina, Mandaluyong, Pasig at iba pang matataas na lugar.
