Duterte payag sa joint investigation sa Recto Bank incident
Bukas si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa hirit ng embahada ng China na magkaroon ng joint investigation sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China kung saan binangga ng Chinese fishing vessel ang bangka ng dalawamput dalawang manginhisda sa Recto Bank.
Ayon kay presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, sa ngayon ay maghihintay ang palasyo ng formal communication mula sa Chinese embassy.
Sinabi ni Panelo na bukas din ang pangulo sa early resolution sa kaso.
Base sa pahayag ng Chinese embassy, iminungkahi ng kanilang hanay ang pagkakaroon ng joint investigation para magkapalitan ng initial findings at maayos na mahawakan ang sitwasyon sa pamamagitan ng friendly consultations.
Nauna dito ay sinabi ng China sa kanilang pahayag na handa silang makipagtulungan sa gagawing imbestigasyon.
“To find a proper solution, we suggest a joint investigation at an early date so the two sides can exchange respective initial findings and properly handle the matter through friendly consultations based on mutually-recognized investigation results”, ayon sa kanilang pahayag.
