Ibinahagi ng isa sa mga sakay ng bangkang pangisda ng mga Filipino na nabangga ng Chinese vessel ang kanilang naranasan sa Recto Bank sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Ayon sa kusinero ng bangka na si Richard Blaza, inakala niyang mamamatay na sila kung hindi sila nasagip ng Vietnamese fishing vessel.
