VP Robredo nais mapanagot ang Chinese crew na bumangga sa Filipino boat
Nanawagan si Vice President Leni Robredo sa gobyerno na panagutin ang Chinese crew ng barko na bumangga sa bangkang pangisda ng mga Filipino sa Recto Bank noong June 9.
Sa isang pahayag araw ng Linggo, sinabi ng bise presidente na dapat humarap sa mga pagdinig sa korte ng Pilipinas ang Chinese crew.
“We strongly urge the Department of Foreign Affairs to demand from the Chinese government to find those responsible and recognize Philippine jurisdiction, so they can face trial before our courts,” ani Robredo.
Dapat umanong mapanagot ang mga nasa likod ng insidente sa bisa ng international treaties at mga batas ng Pilipinas.
Panawagan ng bise presidente ang hustisya sa 22 Filipinong mangingisda at maibibigay lamang anya ito sa ilalim ng hurisdiksyon ng mga korte ng bansa.
Muling ipinahayag ni Robredo ang pagkondena sa insidente sa pinakamataas na antas.
Ito na anya ang panahon na dapat ay maging tapat sa sinumpaan ang mga lider ng gobyerno at gawin ang nararapat para ipagtanggol ang dignidad ng bansa at ang bawat isang Filipino.
“This is the time where we expect our leaders to be true to their oath and speak, act, and do what is needed to defend the dignity of our nation, and every Filipino,” giit ng presidente.
