NAIA, isinailalim sa red at yellow lightning alert

Isinailalim ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) sa ‘Red Lightning Alert’ ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), araw ng Linggo (June 16).

Sa abiso ng MIAA, itinaas sa ‘red lightning alert’ ang paliparan para maiwasan ang anumang untoward incident na maaring idulot ng naranasang pag-kidlat sa lugar.

Dahil dito, sinuspinde ang ramp movement sa mga aircraft at ramp personnel sa NAIA dakong 2:24 ng hapon.

Bandang 3:11 ng hapon, ibinaba ito sa ‘yellow lightning alert’ kung saan ibinalik na ang operasyon maliban sa aircraft refueling at catering service.

Makalipas ang ilang minuto, inialis na ang nasabing alerto bandang 4:12 ng hapon.

Humingi naman ng pang-unawa ang MIAA sa mga pasahero bunsod ng posibleng maranasang delay sa kanilang mga biyahe.

Nananatili anilang prayoridad ang kaligtasan ang mga pasahero at airport personnel.
