NDRRMC: P42-M Yolanda fund ipinambili ng water meters

Nilinaw ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council ginamit nila ang P42 million in na bahagi ng Yolanda rehabilitation funds sa pagbili ng 14,000 water meters para resettlement areas sa Tacloban, Leyte.

Sinabi ng NDRRMC  na ang nasabing pondo ay ipinagkatiwala nila sa Leyte Metropolitan Water District (LMWD).

Bahagi lamang ang nasabing pondo na mga nalikom bilang tulong sa mga nasalanta ng nasabing bagyo.

Direkta rin umanong nagamit ang nasabing pera sa mga nabiktima ng trahedya taliwas sa mga unang ulat na nawawala ang nasabing pondo.

Nauna dito ay sinabi ng Commission on Audit na malaking bahagi ng Yolanda fund ang hindi malaman kung saan napunta.

Kaagad ring ipinag-utos ng Malacañang ang paghahanap na nasabing pondo.
