Posibleng magsimula nang mag-operate ang Mislatel Consortium bilang 3rd telco ng bansa sa susunod na buwan.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ng consortium member na Chelsea Logistics and Infrastructure Holdings Corportation, nakumpleto na kahapon (June 13) ang paglagda sa Share-Purchase Agreement (SPA).
Ayon kay Chelsea vice president for finance Ignacia Braga ang kasunduan ay nilagdaan nina Udenna chairman Dennis A. Uy, Chelsea president at CEO Chryss Alfonsus V. Damuy, at China Telecom Deputy Managing Director Xiao Wei.
Target ng consortium na sa Hulyo ay makakuha na sila ng prangkisa o Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) para sa kanilang operasyon.
Sinabi naman ni Damuy na umaasa silang sa buwan ng Hulyo ay maayos na ang lahat.
Ang palagda aniya sa kasunduan ay umpisa na ng pagtupad nila sa kanilang layunin na mabigyan ng mas mabilis at reliable na internet connection ang publiko.
