2 whistleblower sa ‘ghost dialysis claims,’ maaring mag-apply sa witness protection – DOJ
Inihayag ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na maaaring mag-apply sina Edwin Roberto at Liezel Santos De Leon sa witness protection program (WPP) ng ahensya.
Sina Roberto at De Leon ang dalawang dating empleyado ng WellMed Dialysis Center na naglabas ng umano’y scam sa ghost dialysis claims sa PhilHealth.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, walang humaharang sa dalawang whistleblower sa pag-aapply sa WPP ng ahensya.
Gayunman, ‘premature’ aniya ang posibleng pagpasok ng dalawa sa WPP hangga’t hindi nareresolba ang kasong estafa at falsification of documents laban sa kanila.
Sinabi naman ng kalihim na masusi pa ring magsasagawa ng evaluation sa kanilang aplikasyon.
