PDP-Laban malapit nang ianunsyo ang official nominee para sa House Speakership
Nakatakda nang ianunsyo anumang sandali ng ruling party na PDP-Laban ang kanilang official nominee para sa House Speakership sa 18th Congress.
Sinabi ito ng partido matapos ang pulong na naganap sa bahay ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Martes ng gabi.
Pinulong nina PDP-Laban president Sen. Koko Pimentel at Sen. Many Pacquiao sina Marinduque District Rep. Lord Allan Velasco, Pampanga 3rd District Rep. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales at Davao del Norte 1st District Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez.
Itinalaga ni Pimentel si Pacquiao sa pag-anunsyo ng nominee ng PDP-Laban.
Ayon kay Pimentel, ang PDP-Laban na partido ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pinakamalaking bloc sa Kongreso kaya’t dapat magmula sa kanila ang magiging House Speaker.
Ito ay upang matiyak din na ang magiging Speaker ay makakapagtrabaho nang maayos hindi lamang sa mga kasamahan sa Kongreso kundi maging sa mga miyembro ng Senado.
We will stand united in ensuring that we will have a Speaker who can truly work not only with his peers in the House but also with the members of the Senate,” ani Pimentel.
