Freeze order inilabas ng Court of Appeals sa mga bank accounts ng KAPA

Nag-isyu ang Court of Appeals ng freeze order sa ilang mga bank accounts ng Kapa-Community Ministry International Incorporated (KAPA).

Kasabay nito, sinalakay ng mga tauhan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group ang tanggapan ng kumpanya sa Tagum, Davao del Norte at ang bahay ng founder nitong Jose Apolinario sa General Santos City.

Sa pagtaya ng Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) aabot sa P50-bilyon ang nakulimbat ng kumpanya sa may limang milyong miyembro nito na inoobligang mag-invest ng hindi bababa sa P10,000.

Nag-isyu na rin ng cease and desist order ang SEC matapos bawiin ang certificate of incorporation ng kompanya dahil sa serious misrepresentation.

Ang KAPA ay pinasasara na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kasunod ng mga reklamo ng mga biktima ng kanilang investment scam.
