Hindi umano special treatment kay Janet Lim Napoles ang ginawang paglipat dito sa mother’s ward ng Correctional Institute for Women (CIW).
Bagaman kinumpirma ni CIW officer-in-charge Edelina Patac na mula sa general ward ay inilipat sa mother’s ward si Napoles, iginiit nitong hindi nila tinatrato ng espesyal ang tinaguriang “Pork barrel Queen”.
Ayon kay Patac, Miyerkules ng gabi nang ilipat si Napoles dahil “congested” o masikip na ang general ward kung saan nakakulong si Napoles.
Itinanggi naman ni Patac ang mga balita na may inalis na preso sa mother’s ward para lamang ma-accommodate doon si Napoles. Hindi rin aniya totoong may pinapayagan silang kasambahay o assistant ni Napoles na makasama nito sa loob.
Magugunitang mula sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig, ikinulong si Napoles sa Correctional nang mahatulan ng habambuhay na pagkabilanggo noong April 16 dahil sa kasong serious illegal detention na isinampa ng pork barrel scam whistleblower na si Benhur Luy sa Makati Regional Trial Court. / Len Montaño
