Palasyo: PNP dapat mag sorry sa kolumnistang biktima ng ‘mistaken identiy’
Nais ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na humingi ng paumanhin ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa kolumnistang taga Davao na si Fedelina Margarita Valle.
Ito ay matapos mabiktima si Valle ng “mistaken identity” ng PNP.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, kung totoong mistaken identity ang nangyari kay Valle ay dapat na humingi ng paumanhin ang PNP kay Valle.
“Eh kung mistaken identity, the police would owe that journalist an apology,” ani Panelo.
Si Valle ay inaresto ng PNP sa Laguindingan Airport sa Cagayan de Oro City noong Linggo matapos paghinalaan na wanted person sa mga kasong murder at multiple frustrated murder.
Pero agad din na pinakawalan si Valle matapos magkamali ang PNP sa pag-aresto at makumpirma na hindi ang kolumnista ang suspek.
