Duterte kay Sara: ‘Wag kumandidato kung nariyan pa si Trillanes’

Umapela si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang anak na si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte na huwag tumakbo sa national position hanggang may mga pulitiko sa oposisyon na gaya ni Senator Antonio Trillanes IV o iyong mga kasapi ng Magdalo party-list group.

Sa kanyang panayam sa programa ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, sinabi ng Pangulo na ayaw niyang kumandidato ang anak sa anumang national post.

“I am stating publicly now that I am discouraging my daughter to run for any national office. Maawa kasi ako. It’s an office — entitlement of ano, honor, lahat,” ani Duterte.

“As long as we have politicians like Trillanes, itong mga Magdalo. Akala mo kung sila lang rin ang marunong. They think they are the only patriots of this country. ‘Yung mga Otso Diretso,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na sinabihan ng Pangulo si Inday Sara na huwag kumandidato sa presidential elections sa 2022.

Sinabihan pa nito ang alkalde na wala itong mapapala sa pagiging Pangulo kundi puro sakripisyo at insulto.

Dagdag ni Duterte, ang pagiging sikat ng kanyang pangalan ay maaaring mawala sa pulitika matapos ang tatlong taon.

“So maski gaano kami kasikat na pamilya, there will always be a time to fade. I may be the more brighter than the lights here shining as president, but I will grow dim three years from now,” dagdag ng Presidente.
