Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvolcs), ang lindol ay tectonic origin at may lalim na 26 kilometer.
Naramdaman naman ang intesity 1 sa Dagupan City.
Nilinaw rin ng Philvolcs na wala namang inaasahang aftershocks at wala ring naiulat na may nasawi o nasaktan sa nasabing lindol.
