Binati ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga pulis at sundalo dahil matagumpay na operasyon para panatilihing maayos ang 2019 midterm elections.
Sa talumpati sa selebrasyon ng Eid’l Fitr sa Davao City, Huwebes ng gabi, sinabi ng pangulo na dapat pasalamatan ang mga pulis at sundalo dahil sa mapayapang eleksyon.
Nagpasalamat din ang Punong Ehekutibo sa mga nasa likod ng pagpapatupad ng Bangsamoro Organic Law kabilang sina dating Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza at kasalukuyang peace adviser na si Carlito Galvez Jr.
Kapwa iniulat ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na walang naganap na untoward incident sa kasagsagan ng eleksyon.
Ayon kay Col. Noel Detoyato, hepe ng AFP public affairs, ito ay bunga ng ilang buwang preparasyon ng AFP, PNP at Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa katatapos na halalan.
