LTO binawi ang lisensya ng reckless driver sa viral video
Binawi ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang lisensya ni Miko Lopez, ang motorista na nasa viral video na nagmamaneho ng kanyang sasakyan na nakaupo sa passenger seat.
Sa utos ng LTO, hindi na rin makakakuha ng driver’s license si Lopez at tinanggalan ito ng pribilehiyo na makapag-maneho.
Sa resolusyon na inilabas araw ng Huwebes, sinampahan si Lopez ng patong-patong na kaso gaya ng speeding, reckless driving, failure to wear or use seatbelt at pagmamaneho ng walang manibela o Unauthorized Motor Vehicle Modification.
Obligado rin ang motorista na magbayad ng penalty sa naturang mga paglabag na nasa pagitan ng P1,000 hanggang P5,000.
Matatandaan na nagpost si Lopez ng kanyang video kung saan mapapanood ito na ang kaliwang binti ay nasa gas at brake pedals.
Ayon pa sa LTO, bigo si Lopez na lumutang sa tanggapan sa kabila ng subpoena sa kanya.
“Mr. Lopez did not exert any effort to coordinate and contact the Office to give his side relative to the aforementioned incidents up to this date. Lopez disregarded the opportunity to present his side and did not make any clear effort to coordinate with the agency,” pahayag ng LTO.
Samantala, hinimok ni LTO chief Edgar Galvante ang publiko na ireport sa kanila ang iresponsableng motorista.
