Duterte nangakong pananatilihin ang kapayapaan sa Mindanao
Nangako si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ipatutupad ang ngipin ng batas laban sa mga teroristang maghahasik ng lagim sa Mindanao.
Sa talumpati sa paggunita ng Eid’l Fitr sa Davao City araw ng Huwebes, iginiit ng presidente na pananatilihin niya ang anya’y ‘fragile peace’ sa Mindanao at tatapusin ang terorismo sa bansa.
“Any form of violence against the Muslim community or any other tribe especially those arising from religious extremism, hatred, discrimination and misguided beliefs will never be tolerated and will be dealt with by the full force of the law,” ayon sa pangulo.
Sinabi ni Duterte na dahil sa pagkakatatag sa Bangsamoro autonomous region magiging madali ang ugnayan ng gobyerno sa Bangsamoro community na magdudulot ng pagganda sa relasyon ng lahat ng ethnic groups.
Nanindigan ang presidente na ang turo ng pananampalatayang Islam ay kahalagahan ng pagbibigay sa kapwa at pagkakaroon ng responsibilidad sa bawat isa.
Umaasa ang punong ehekutibo na sa kabila ng pagkakaiba-iba ay pareho ang pagnanais ng bawat isa na magkaroon ng magandang buhay na may positibong pananaw.
“I hope that despite our differences, each of us will realize that we share the same desire to lead brighter and better lives filled with optimism and acceptance,” dagdag ng presidente.
Sa pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr, nanawagan si Duterte ng pagkakaisa ng lahat upang matamo ang kapayapaan at pag-unlad sa buong bansa lalo na sa Mindanao.
“I urge the entire nation to contemplate upon the true meaning of Ramadhan. May this time of joy reminds us of our shared pursuit to establish lasting peace and stability across the country, especially in Mindanao,” ayon sa presidente.
