May tiyak nang dalawang committee chairmanship para kay Senator-elect Bong Go.
Ayon kay Senate President Tito Sotto III, makukuha ni Go ang chairmanship para sa committee on health at committee on urban planning, housing, and resettlement sa pagpasok ng 18th congress.
Ang nasabing mga komite ay hawak ngayon ni outgoing Senator JV Ejercito.
Samantala, kinumpirma naman ni Senator Manny Pacquiao na inialok niya kay Go ang Senate committee on sports.
Ayon kay Pacquiao, dahil isa rin ito sa komite na nais ni Go, ay ibibigay niya na ito sa baguhang senador.
Mananatili namang hawak ni Pacquiao ang ethics at public works committees.
Sina incoming Senators Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa naman at Francis Tolentino ay makukuha ang chairmanship sa committees on public order at dangerous drugs and local government.
Sinabi ito ni Sotto isang araw matapos magkausap-usap sa isang dinner ang mga kasalukuyan at mga bagong senador.
Posible namang pamunuan ni Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III ang Senate committees on trade and foreign relations.
