Random Manual Audit posibleng matapos na ng Comelec sa Huwebes
Posibleng ilabas na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ngayong linggo ang resulta ng Random Manual Audit (RMA) sa vote counting machines (VCMs).
Sa isang tweet kahapon araw ng Lunes, sinabi ni Comelec Commissioner and RMA Team head Luie Tito Guia, na noon pang Linggo ay 635 na ng kabuuang 715 randomly selected precincts na napili sa buong bansa ang na-audit.
Makukumpleto anya ang audit sa Huwebes, June 6.
Kailangan ang random manual audit upang masigurong tama ang resulta na inilabas ng VCMs.
Kabilang sa binibilang sa audit ay ang overvotes, undervotes at incomplete at misplaced shades sa mga balota.
Ang audit ay isinasagawa ng Comelec sa tulong ng Legal Network for Truthful Elections (Lente), Philippine Statistics Authority at Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
