Grab: 8,000 driver accounts deactivated sa June 10

Nasa 8,000 aktibong driver partners ang maapektuhan ng planong deactivation ng driver accounts ng Grab Philippines sa susunod na linggo.

Ayon kay Grab Philippines President Brian Cu, ang made-deactivate na driver accounts ay iyong mga hindi nagsumite ng katibayan na may nakuha silang provisional authority mula sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

Matatandaan noong Disyembre ay nagbukas ang LTFRB ng 20,000 slots para sa mga driver at ang mga nag-apply ay binigyan hanggang June 7 para kumpletuhin ang kanilang application documents.

Aminado si Cu na ang pagtanggal sa kanilang 8,000 driver-partners, na may katumbas na 100,000 na biyahe kada araw, ay makakaperwisyo sa kanilang mga pasahero.

“This is very painful for us, our drivers, and passengers, but it is Grab’s duty to help the LTFRB enforce our regulations,” pahayag ni Cu.

Pero umaasa si Cu na pansamantala lamang ang perwisyo dahil nakatakdang magbukas ang LTFRB ng 10,000 transport network vehicle service (TNVS) slots simula sa naturang petsa.

Sa ngayon ay nasa 45,000 ang aktibong drivers ng Grab Philippines.
