Rescue operation ikinasa para sa 7 dinukot ng mga terorista sa Surigao del Sur
Magsasagawa ng otoridad ng rescue operations para sa pitong kato kabilang ang dalawang menor de edad na dinukot ng teroristang grupo sa Surigo del Sur.
Ayon kay Brig. Gen. Gilberto Cruz, director ng Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13), ang mga bihag ng mga terorista ay sina Ryard Juagpao Badiang, 24; Wendil Ambungan Delicuna, 25; Angelo Duazo, 34; Roel Fernandez Bulando, 23; Rodelo Molino Montenegro, 47; at isang 8 taong gulang at 12 anyos na mga bata.
Ang mga biktima anya na mga residente sa bayan ng Lanuza ay dinukot Huwebes ng umaga sa Sitio Pog ng mga miyembro ng teroristang grupo na nasa ilalim ni Joel Mahinay alyas Nico ng Sandatahang Platoon Pamproganda 1 (SPP1) ng North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee.
Ayon sa isang saksi, dinala sina Badiang, Delicuna at Duazo sa Sitio Banahao, Maitom, Tandag City habang ang apat na iba pang biktima ay pinalaya kinahapunan.
Sinabi ni Cruz na iniimbestigahan nila ang insidente at ililigtas ang mga biktima na dinukot o ginagamit na human shields ng mga terorista.
“As of this time, all police units in the area are continuously conducting investigation and coordination to rescue the innocent civilians who are still being held and used as human shields and propaganda subject by the Communist Terrorists,” ani Cruz sa isang pahayag.
