Pulis patay sa pamamaril ng riding in tandem sa Malabon
Nasawi ang isang pulis matapos pagbabarilin ng mga suspek na nakasakay sa motorsiklo sa Malabon Biyernes ng gabi.
Ayon kay Lt. Col. Jessie Tamayao, commander ng Malabon City Police, ang pinatay na pulis ay si Patrolman Alex Gitug Jr. na nakatalaga sa Navotas City Police.
Dead on the spot ang pulis matapos barilin sa Tuazon Street alas 7:30 ng gabi.
Sa imbestigasyon ni Police Corporal Michael Oben ng Malabon Police, nawawala ang baril at motorsiklo ng pulis at tanging wallet at lalagyan ng baril ang nakuha sa crime scene.
Iniimbestigahan ang pagkakilanlan ng mga suspek at ang motibo sa krimen.
