BI, iniimbestigahan na ang pagkakasangkot umano ni Jacky Co sa P1.8B shabu shipment
Sinimulan na ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang imbestigasyon sa Chinese national na nasa likod umano ng P1.8 bilyong shabu shipment sa bansa noong March 22.
Ayon kay Dana Sandoval, tagapagsalita ng ahensya, agad ipinag-utos ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente ang imbestigasyon sa isiniwalat ni Senador Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.
Sa kaniyang privilege speech noong araw ng Miyerkules, inilahad ni Lacson na si Zhijian Xu alyas Jacky Co ang responsable sa nakumpiskang 276 kilos ng hinihinalang shabu sa Manila International Container Port (MICP).
Gayunman, sinabi ni Sandoval na walang record sa ahensya na makapagpapatunay ng alegasyon ni Lacson.
Tutulong naman aniya ang ahensya sa iba pang law enforcement agency para sa imbestigasyon.
