Xi hindi umano tumupad sa pangako ukol sa South China Sea

Inihayag ng top general ng US military na hindi tumupad si Chinese President Xi Jinping sa pangako nito na hindi magpatupad ng militarisasyon sa South China Sea.

Ayon kay General Joseph Dunford, chairman ng Pentagon Joint Chiefs of Staff, dapat magkaroon ng “collective action” at managot ang Chinese leader.

Binanggit ng Heneral na noong 2016 ay ipinangako ni Xi kay dating Pres. Barack Obama na hindi imimilitarize ang mga isla.

“The fall of 2016, President Xi Jinping promised President Obama that they would not militarize the islands. So what we see today are 10,000-foot runways, ammunition storage facilities, routine deployment of missile defense capabilities, aviation capabilities, and so forth,” ani Dunford.

Giit ni Dunford, malinaw na tinalikuran ng China ang kanilang commitment.

Pero nilinaw ng Heneral na hindi nila nais ng gulo o tugon ng US military.

Ang kailangan lang anya ay aksyon sa mga lumabag sa international standards.

Dismayado ang US sa pagiging agresibo ng China sa colonization sa South China Sea.
