84 kilos ng imported na karne mula Japan nakumpiska ng Customs

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs – NAIA ang kabuuang 84 kilos ng imported meat mula sa Japan.

Ayon sa pahayag ng BOC-NAIA Miyerkules ng gabi, walang clearance at health certificate mula sa Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) ang naturang mga karne.

Isang pasahero ang nagdala ng meat products na bigong makapagpakita ng kaukulang import documents upang matiyak na hindi ito kontaminado.

Ang pagkakakumpiska sa mga karne ay naganap sa gitna ng mga ipinatutupad na hakbang ng gobyerno upang hindi makapasok ang African swine fever sa bansa.

Naiturn-over na ang imported meat sa BAI-Veterinary Quarantine Services.

Samantala, sinabi ng Customs – NAIA na umabot na sa 4,496 kilos ng mga produktong karne ang kanilang nakumpiska at naibigay sa BAI para sa proper disposal mula noong Enero.
