Mga Pinoy na apektado ng kaguluhan sa Libya pauwi na
Nakatakdang umuwi ng Pilipinas ang nasa labing-limang Filipino sa Tripoli, Libya.
Sa Twitter, sinabi ni Chargé d’ Affaires Elmer Cato mula sa Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Libya na kasama sa panibagong batch ng mga uuwing Pinoy ay limang menor de edad.
Nakausap na aniya ang mga Pinoy sa embahada bago inilikas sa Tripoli.
Dahil dito, sinabi ni Cato na aabot na sa pitumpung Pinoy ang humiling ng tulong sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) para makabalik ng Pilipinas.
Matatandaang nagsimulang tumindi ang kaguluhan sa north African country noong April 3.
Dahil dito, itinaas ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. ang alert level 4 o mandatory repatriation noong May 1.
