Pilipinas walang gagastusin sa byahe ni Duterte sa Japan

Pabuya o reward ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagbitbit sa labing anim na cabinet member sa Japan para dumalo sa 25th Nekkei International Conference sa Tokyo.

Ayon kay Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose Peter Laurel, natuwa kasi ang pangulo sa pagkakapanalo ng kanyang mga kandidatong senador sa katatapos na may 13 midterm elections.

Pero paglilinaw ni Laurel hindi junket ang biyahe.

Halimbawa na lamang ayon kay Laurel ang pagsama ng pangulo sa local government for land reform.

Ayon kay Laurel, wala namang land reform sa Japan na kinakailangang daluhan ng mga local government officials.

Pero sinabi ng opisyal na bagaman sangkaterba ang kasama ng pangulo sa Japan trip ay sasagutin naman ng Nekkei ang kanilang gastusin.

Kabilang sa official delegation sina Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Agricukture  Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles,  Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade,  Science Secretary Fortunato Dela Peña, Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, at Information and Communications Technology Secretary Eliseo Rio, Jr.

Nasa listahan rin sina Economic Secretary Ernesto Pernia, Communications Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin Andanar, National Security Adviser  Hermogenes Esperon, Jr., at Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo and Peace Secretary Carlito Galvez.
