Kontra Daya may kilos-protesta sa labas ng Comelec bukas ng umaga
Nanawagan ang Kontra Daya sa mga mamamayan na samahan sila sa isasagawang kilos-protesta sa harapan ng main office ng Commission on Elections sa Intramuros, Maynila bukas, araw ng Miyerkules (May 29).
Ito ay upang ipanawagan ang transparency at accountability ng poll body sa nagdaang May 13 elections.
Magsasagawa ng pagkilos ang Kontra Daya bandang alas-10:00 ng umaga.
“Contrary to the call of some traditional politicians to just ‘move on,’ Kontra Daya calls on the people to ‘move forward’ by holding a protest action at the Comelec office at Palacio del Gobernador building, Gen. A. Luna St., Intramuros, Manila on May 29 (Wednesday), 10 a.m,” ayon sa pahayag ng grupo.
Hindi umano basta-basta magmo-move on ang grupo sa mga nangyaring iregularidad sa halalan tulad ng panawagan ng ibang mga tradisyonal na pulitiko.
“The mass action is open to all those who assert that there were cheating and irregularities in the recently-held midterm polls, as well as those who demand transparency and accountability from the COMELEC in terms of the information it provides on the elections,” dagdag ng Kontra Daya.
Ang mass action ng grupo ay kasabay ng nakatakdang pulong ng Comelec en banc para desisyunan ang mahahalagang isyu kabilang ang kaliwa’t kanang petisyon laban sa Duterte Youth.
Magugunitang mariing tinututulan ng Kontra Daya ang ginawang hakbang ni dating National Youth Commission (NYC) Chair Ronald Cardema para iluklok ang sarili bilang first nominee ng Duterte Youth.
