Pangulong Duterte itinalaga si CA Justice Inting bilang bagong SC justice
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Court of Appeals Justice Henri Jean Paul Inting bilang Supreme Court Associate Justice.
Ang appointment kay Inting ay inanunsyo ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra araw ng Lunes.
Pupunan ni Inting ang iniwang pwesto ng ngayo’y Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin.
Si Inting, 61 anyos, ay nagtapos sa Ateneo de Davao University at nagsilbi bilang corporate lawyer para sa National Housing Authority Government Corporation taong 1983.
Naging supervising staff assistant din siya sa dating Intermediate Apellate Court (ngayon ay CA) taong 1984.
Bago maging CA Justice taong 2012 ay nanilbihan din si Inting bilang Quezon City Regional Trial Court judge.
Siya ay kapatid ng dating CA justice at ngayo’y Commission on Elections commissioner Socorro Inting.
Si Inting ay pang siyam na appointee na ng pangulo sa pagiging Associate Justice ng SC at pang-11 naman kung isasama ang pagtatalaga kina Teresita Leonardo-De Castro at Bersamin bilang punong mahistrado.
