Opisyal nang inilunsad ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) 2019.
Kasabay nito ay muling binuhay ng DepEd ang OBE Task Force na layong matiyak ang maayos na pagbubukas ng klase sa lahat ng pampublikong paaralan sa bansa sa June 3.
Ang Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) para sa Oplan Balik Eskwela 2019 ay binubuo ng DepEd, Department of Energy (DOE), Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Health (DOH), Department of National Defense (DND), Department of Public Works & Highways (DPWH), Social Welfare & Development (DSWD), Trade & Industry (DTI), MERALCO, MWSS, MMDA, PAGASA at PNP.
Sinabi ni DepEd Undersecretary Jess Mateo na layunin ng OBE na masigurong maayos ang enrollment ng lahat ng mag-aaral sa buong bansa at magiging maayos din ang unang araw ng klase.
Sa ngayon bukas na ang OBE Information and Action Center (IAC) sa Bulwagan ng Karunugan sa DepEd na tatanggap ng mga reklamo at tanong hinggil sa pagbubukas ng klase.
