Tanggapan ni Robredo pinakamataas ang rating mula sa COA noong 2018
Ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) ang nakatanggap ng pinaka-mataas na audit rating mula sa Commission on Audit (COA) para sa taong 2018.
Binggit ng OVP ang COA report kung saan nakasaad na nagbigay ang state auditors ng “unqualified opinion” sa patas na presentasyon ng financial statement ng tanggapan ni Vice President Leni Robredo.
Ayon sa COA, ang “unqualified opinion” ay makukunsiderang best opinion na pwedeng matanggap ng isang ahensya ng gobyerno.
“In our opinion, the accompanying financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the OVP as of Dec. 31, 2018, and its financial performance, statement of cash flows, statement of changes in net assets/equity, statement of comparison of budget and actual amounts for the year then ended, and notes to the financial statements, including a summary of significant accounting policies in accordance with Philippines Public Sector Accounting Standards (PPSASs),” nakasaad sa pahayag ng The Independent Auditor’s Report na pirmado ni supervising auditor Edna Salaguban.
Sinabi pa ng OVP na sa ilalim ng pamunuan ni Robredo, nabigyan ng pansin ang alituntunin na itinakda ng oversight agencies gayundin ang mga hakbang na layong maging mas maayos ang paggamit ng pondo ng bayan.
