Matapos ang 16 season, nagpaalam na sa sikat na singing contest na The Voice ang lead singer ng grupong Maroon 5 na si Adam Levine.
Kinumpirma mismo ng host at producer ng show na si Carson Daly na hindi na babalik ang singer sa coach’s chair sa pagpasok ng 17th season ng nasabing show.
Nag-post din si Levine ng kanyang pamamaalam at pasasalamat sa kanyang Instagram account kalakip ang larawan kung saan makikita ang original coaches ng show. “… to all of the loyal voice fans, there’s literally no show without you guys. For me, it was time to move on. Your support has meant EVERYTHING”.
Si Levine ay naging coach mula nang magsimula ang show noong 2011.
Magbabalik naman si Gwen Stefani bilang coach kapalit ni Levine.
