Mga pinasok na kontrata bubusisiin ng bagong MWSS administrator
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si retired Army Brig. General Ricardo Morales bilang bagong chairman ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS).
Ang pagtatalaga kay Morales ay inanunsyo ng pangulo sa thanksgiving party ni Senator-elect Christopher “Bong” Go sa Davao City huwebes ng gabi.
Nagpahayag ng kumpiyansa ang Pangulo kay Morales na gaya niya ay taga-Davao City rin.
Nauna dito, sinibak ni Duterte si MWSS Administrator Reynaldo Velasco kasunod ng naranasang problema sa supply ng tubig sa Metro Manila.
Sinabi ng pangulo na kabilang sa magiging trabaho ng bagong MWSS administrator ay ang pag-review sa lahat ng mga kontratang pinasok ng ahensya.
Inatasan rin ni Duterte si Morales na linisin ang MWSS sa katiwalian.
