DFA sa mga Pinoy na bibiyahe sa Hong Kong: ‘Wag magdala ng mga bawal na gamit’

Nagpaalala ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa mga Pilipino na bibiyahe sa Hong Kong na huwag magdala ng mga bawal na gamit sa kanilang bagahe.

Ayon sa DFA, hindi dapat magdala ng restricted items sa hand-carried o checked-in luggage para hindi mapahamak.

“DFA reiterates its warning to all Filipinos traveling to or transiting through Hong Kong as visitors, workers, or as residents to make sure they are not carrying restricted items in their hand-carried or checked-in luggage,” pahayag ng ahensya.

Sa ilalim ng Aviation Security Ordinance o ang Firearms and Ammunition Ordinance of Hong Kong, bawal magdala ng stun gun, pepper spray, bala ng baril, extendable baton, flick knife at knuckleduster.

Ang maaaresto sa pagkakaroon ng “stunning devices” ay may multang KH$100,000 at 14 na pagkakulong.

Ayon sa DFA, nasa 20 Pinoy, karamihan ay bumiyahe sa Hong Kong International Airport ang nagmulta noong 2018 dahil sa pagdadala ng mga bawal na gamit.
