Comelec: Mga kandidato, Partido dapat maghain ng SOCE hanggang June 13

Pinaalalahanan ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang lahat ng kandidato sa natapos na May 13 midterm elections na maghain ng kanilang statement of contributions and expenditures (SOCE) hanggang June 13, 2019.

Ayon kay Comelec spokesman James Jimenez, dapat itong sundin ng mga kandidato at Partido kahit nanalo o natalo sa halalan.

Nagbabala si Jimenez na mahaharap sa administrative sanction at electoral protest ang kabiguang maghain ng SOCE.

Sa ilalim ng batas, lahat ng mga kandidato at Partido ay kailangang magsumite ng SOCE tatlumpung araw matapos ang eleksyon.

Dahil ang halalan ay noong May 12, sa June 12 dapat ang deadline pero dahil ito ay holiday, sinabi ng Comelec na pwedeng maghain ng SOCE hanggang June 13.

“SOCE filed beyond the deadline shall not be accepted except from those who won the elections. Until the submission of SOCE, winning candidates shall not assume office,” ani Jimenez.

Ang mga nanalo anya sa eleksyon ay pwedeng maghain ng SOCE hanggang anim na buwan makalipas ang kanilang proklamasyon pero may kaukulang multa na.

Ayon pa sa poll body, hanggang hindi nahahain ang SOCE, hindi maaaring makaupo sa pwesto ang nanalong kandidato.

Dapat ding maghain ng SOCE ang mga kandidato na self-funded o walang ginastos noong kampanya.
